He wrote this as an introduction.
My intention was for the 2022 calendar to be my last. However, with the recent passing of my mom it was obvious that I needed to do at least one more calendar. And yes, she appears more than a few times.

Ludovico and Maria (Carolina Raimondi) Mocciola – photos are from the tombstone in Italy. Ludovico and Maria are my great grand aunt and uncle. Ludovico was born in 1860 in Anzi, Italy and Maria in 1864, also in Anzi.
Note added: In Italy it was/is Mocciola, but in the New World the last name became Mocciolo at some point on Ellis Island.
